Accessibility Statement

Last updated

We want Achasta.co to work for everyone who visits it, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or reduced motion. This page says what we aim for, where we actually stand, and how to reach a human if something blocks you.

Our target

We build this site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA as our standard.

Where we actually stand

This site has not had a formal third-party accessibility audit, and we are not claiming full conformance. We state a target, not a certification. Our own internal review has found issues we are still working through — including heading-structure problems on some pages, where a page presents more than one top-level heading. Those are being fixed.

We would rather tell you that plainly than publish a conformance claim we have not earned.

What is in place today

  • Text alternatives for images. Every image on the pages we have reviewed carries alt text describing what is actually in the picture.
  • Reduced motion is respected. The site’s animation honours your operating system’s “reduce motion” setting and stands still when you ask it to.
  • Real text, not pictures of text. Content is selectable, resizable and readable by assistive technology, and the layout reflows when you zoom.
  • Descriptive links. We write link text that says where it goes rather than “click here.”

Known limitations

  • Heading structure on some pages does not yet follow a single, logical outline.
  • Keyboard focus visibility and color contrast have not been measured across every page.
  • The forms on this site use Google reCAPTCHA, a third-party service whose accessibility we do not control. If it blocks you, call or email us and we will take your information directly.

Tell us and we will fix it

Accessibility work is never finished, and the fastest way for us to find a barrier is for you to tell us about one. Contact info@goldpeachrealty.com or call (770) 283-1223. Please tell us the page and what happened. We will work on the fix and, in the meantime, get you the information another way — read to you over the phone, sent as plain text, or in whatever format works for you. There is no charge for that, ever.

Fair housing

Refusing a reasonable accommodation is a fair housing issue as well as an accessibility one. Our Fair Housing Notice explains your options if you believe you have been treated unfairly.
